The town of Tabuneknek is excited about the upcoming Santacruzan. But Alex (Aiza Seguerra) refuses to wear a gown and join the sagala, not caring that she’s breaking family tradition. However, Ocs and Cita insist that Alex join the Santacruzan and take pains with her appearance while she’s at it.

Meanwhile, Doc Aga and Greta formally open the Care Mo, Care Ko Barangay Center. Although it was Doc Aga and Greta’s idea to put up the center, Major Ret demands that he be credited for the project as well. Aga and Greta then begin teaching children about health and cleanliness. Later, Alex overhears Aga talking about chicken pox immunization and she hits upon a brilliant idea.

Alex returns home and tells Ocs and Cita that she cannot join the sagala because she has chicken pox. But Major Ret and the rest believe that Alex is just making up excuses to avoid wearing a dress in public. However, when everybody starts breaking put in spots, they suspect that there may be an outbreak of chicken pox in Tabuneknek.
