Larry has made it a habit to tell lies, even to his girlfriend Anna. On their third anniversary, Larry buys a bear stuff toy from a child on street, and Larry gives the toy to Anna as a gift. Larry later falls asleep, and without him knowing, Anna makes a wish on the stuff toy.

From then on, odd things begin to happen in Larry's life wherein his lies are starting to come true at the expense of the people around him. His bestfriend Greg commits suicide and his little brother Luke suffers an epileptic shock. Larry then has no choice but to tell his girlfriend the truth, but Anna could no longer stand his boyfriend's immaturity, and she breaks up with him. The next day, Larry's aunt arrives to take Luke as Larry could not anymore take care of his younger brother.

Anna tells Larry that she wished on the toy that all of Larry's words would come true. To turn his misfortunes around, Larry tells his boss that his girlfriend is pregnant and that they are about to get married. He then tears the stuff toy apart. But later, Larry hears from Anna that their maid Josie is pregnant with his baby.
