Terrence seeks his real father in prison but Jimboy cuts off further association between them. With that, Terrence focuses his efforts in supporting Alberta in her pressing situation. First, he paves the way to reconcile her and Emerald then he convinces Benedict to hear Alberta’s side despite her betrayal. As soon as Ruby recovered from her accident, she finally sees the light and accepts Jade as her real mom. But even though the family is now reunited, Jade discerns the anxiousness in Sapphire’s eyes. As such, she confronts her about not feeling her daughter in her for her thoughts seem to be wandering even amidst the laughter and chatter at home. Sapphire reasons out that trusting again is a bit harder after Lena’s deception. As such, Jade gives her some space and time to adjust herself to the family. But behind the Gomezes’ back, Sapphire searches through Lena’s things and finds a receipt for someone’s cremation. Livid, she secretly goes to her aunt’s hideout to demand about her father’s condition. However, Lena denies any knowledge about it, insisting that her father is still alive. Hence, Sapphire continues her act despite her guilty feelings. What she didn’t anticipate is Alberta’s full confession. Together with his sons, Benedict visits Alberta to listen to what she had to say. At the end of their emotional talk however, Terrence worriedly exclaims that Sapphire is still faking her identity. With this information, he rushes to the Jewel Sisters’ concert to deal with ‘Bridget’. At the backstage, Terrence leaves Sapphire no choice but to admit her cloak of lies. Bridget refuses to own up her mistake at first. But eventually, she begs Terrence to keep this to himself for the sake of her ailing father. Much to her shock and sorrow though, she learns that Lena has been duping her all along—because her father is already dead. |
