Now that she is freed from her captors, Perla reveals to Emerald that she is her real grandmother and will prove it to her. While she could not pinpoint the people who kidnapped her, she swears to Emerald that she is telling the truth and reveals to her that Lena is not their real mother and that she may have something to do with her kidnapping. Meanwhile, Alberta now fears for Terrence’s life and confronts Lena for what she did. Lena defends herself and says that she only did so to save herself and Alberta as well because Terrence knew too much already about their evil plans.

Lena is slowly losing Bridget’s confidence and threatens to withdraw her support if she doesn’t tell Bridget where her father is. But Lena still got the upper hand and forced Bridget to know the real score on what Emerald and Perla talked about at the precinct. But Emerald kept her word to Perla and revealed nothing to them.
