After a considerable time, ex-couple Aiko Melendez and Martin Jickain met face to face again on the first private hearing of their annulment case on Quezon City Regional Trial Court. What dismayed her though is the sudden media coverage that her hubby brought in to what should have been a strictly family affair.

Obviously fed up with all the circulating controversy of her broken marriage, the actress-slash-councilor can’t help but question Martin’s intention for doing what he did when she has been doing her best to keep everything low profile. She further said how the meeting could have been more special between father and daughter without the taint of publicity.

As it happens, Aiko agreed to compromise on his visitation rights towards Martina. She generously allowed her daughter to be accompanied for a three-hour house call on his home together with a person within the vicinity who monitors the get-together for good measure; adding that the visitation period may be even extended to a whole day if things go smoothly between them.

Meantime, rumor has it that she violated a contract as an endorser of a certain clinic after she reportedly did a liposuction operation. However, Aiko clarified that she never did such a thing since it was breast reduction which she went for.
