Things get out of hand, as Bernardo kidnaps Gillian and demands ten million pesos for ransom, while Patria gets worse. One day, Bernardo calls up Rose demanding for ransom, and an enraged Andrew tells him that Patria is in the hospital! As such, Bernardo asks his friend and accomplice to go check on Patria, as he thought that Andrew was just making things up to scare him. However, his friend realizes that Patria indeed got rushed to the hospital, and he ends up getting caught by the police!

Bernardo's friend denies everything, and tells the police that he doesn't know anything. Mike then tells him that in exchange for Bernardo's whereabouts, he'll give him tons of money, but Bernardo's friend keeps mum. He then calls up Bernardo, and tells him that he won't be coming back any minute now, as the police are everywhere! On the other hand, Rose goes to the hospital to visit Patria, and Boy tells her that they shouldn't mention anything about Gillian's kidnapping. However, Rose tells him that she has to make things straight, and settle everything with Patria!

Rose then goes to Patria's room, and sees her in her pitiful state! She then confronts her about the baby switch, and tells her that they already know about it! Rose adds that there's no need to explain, as she knows they did it for money! Patria then admits that what Rose everything said was true, and that she did it because she was very jealous of Rose's life, which was opposite hers. She adds, however, that during all those years, they yearned for Andrew's recognition, which they never got. Rose replies that even if she was in Patria's state, she will never do anything to switch her baby with another! Rose then retorts that she will able to forgive her if she didn't see all the trouble Patria gave to Gillian, and that if only she wasn't sick, she will return all of Gillian's sufferings to her right that very instant! On the other hand, Andrew learns that Patria's kidneys already gave in, and that she needs a kidney donor! As such, he signs up as a kidney donor, so he can give something back to his mother!

The doctor then tells Patria that somebody signed up as her donor, and that she's lucky to have a kidney transplant right away! Soon Mike arrives, and tells Patria about Gillian's kidnapping, and demands answers from Patria! He then tells her that he wouldn't be able to forgive them for what they did to Gillian, while Tina and Boy overhear this!
