After her shocking sexy dance number, Margarita grabs the microphone and makes another jolting revelation.  She tells everyone her real identity, that she is indeed Robert's daughter from his first wife who he abandoned and left on to die.  Margarita cries as she narrates the hardships she suffered to provide for her brothers, ending up a burlesque dancer.  She immediately flees after, leaving Robert and Jessica mortified in public.  Rodrigo arrives to fetch Margarita, but Bernard tries to stop her, to no avail.

Jessica asks Ramon to have Margarita killed, but Ramon doesn't want to get on the wrong foot.  Jake and other officers arrive and serve the warrant for Ramon's arrest.  Ramon is shock and later asks Bernard if he has something to do with the arrest, but Bernard exposes the evidences proving that Ramon is the protector of a criminal group.  Meanwhile, Rodrigo comforts Margarita, and promises her that they will start a new life with her brothers.  But Margarita still needs to make it to her final dance in the club, and gets her younger sister back from Jessica.

But as Margarita and Rodrigo take Paola away, Bernard arrives, and the two men end up pointing a gun at each other.  Margarita tells Bernard that she needs her sister back, and Bernard must do the right thing now.  Paola cries as she is oblivious to what's happening, but Bernard tells the kid the truth.  Bernard promises Margarita that he will be the one to explain to Paola everything, and in time, he will bring the kid to her.

Jessica visits Ramon in prison, and she asks his help so she could kill Margarita.  Apparently, Ramon is planning to escape and kill Rodrigo, and he gives Jessica the number of a friend who can help her get her revenge.   Meanwhile, Rodrigo goes to his protector so he could leave the group.  But his Chinese protector wants him to do one last hit, and to Rodrigo's surprise, he is ordered to kill Margarita.

Ramon manages to sneak out of jail and later calls the Chinese man.  Ramon is pissed that the man who he once worked with will later give Rodrigo all the evidence against him.  Ramon then demands from the Chinese man the whereabouts of Rodrigo, to which the Chinese man agrees.  But Eddie is nearby listening to their deal.  Meanwhile, Rodrigo tells Margarita the hit that Jessica ordered against her.  Rodrigo doesn't want to do the job, but Margarita fears that the group will run after Rodrigo if he fails to do so.  They later agree that after Margarita makes her last dance, Rodrigo will meet her, and they will run away together.

Eddie goes to Bernard and warns him that Rodrigo is walking into a trap.  Later that night, as Margarita makes her last dance, Rodrigo goes to a warehouse to meet the group, and Bernard keeps a close eye on him.  A shootout erupts between Rodrigo and the group.  Rodrigo manages to escape, but Ramon corners him.  Ramon shoots Rodrigo, but Bernard arrives and shoots down Ramon.  Then at the club, Margarita breaks in tears as Rodrigo fails to show up.

In the hospital, Margarita rushes to Rodrigo's side as he struggles to profess his love to her.  He tells her that she deserves to be with someone else, and Rodrigo later dies.  Afterwards, Jessica points a gun at Margarita, but Bernard stops her.  Jake and the police then arrive to arrest Jessica for killing Adora several years ago.

Some time passes, and Margarita and Bernard meet again.  Margarita has bought a land in Bicol where her brothers and kid sister are living.  Bernard has left the force and now owns a small business.  Bernard tells her that he still loves her, but Margarita still needs more time.  Bernard then promises to wait for her, so they could be together.
