Rodrigo arrives in time to stop Morgan from killing Bernard.  There, Rodrigo catches Bernard and Margarita kissing.  Later, Rodrigo cuffs Morgan and tells him how he survived.  Apparently, Rodrigo was saved by Eddie after he was shot by Ramon and fell off the creek.  Now, Rodrigo is working for Eddie's employer who happens to know him too.  Rodrigo is now a vigilante and is determined to take Ramon down.  Rodrigo then shoots Morgan in the forehead.

Robbie tells Margarita that he is willing to see their father and their long lost sister.  Margarita is happy to hear that her brother is already open for reconciliation, but Gabby overhears them and learns that the congressional candidate is their true father.  Gabby then expresses his longing for his father and their younger sister whom he meets in the school.  Meanwhile, Ramon tells Bernard that he is proud of what he did.  Ramon then orders his team to arrest Corales and plant evidences against him.  Apparently, Ramon discovered that Corales is planning to replace him, so Ramon decides to eliminate Corales before he could do the same to him.

Bernard talks to Gutierrez and offers him protection in exchange of information.  Gutierrez then agrees, and later names General Lambino and Corales as the protectors of their cartel.  However, Corales and Lambino's partnership are on the rocks.  Unknown to all of them, a shootout erupts between Corales and Lambino and their respective teams.  Meanwhile, Margarita goes to see Robert, and their she meets Paola.  She tells the little girl that she can treat her as her sister.  Bernard then arrives and is happy to see that Greta is getting along well with his family.

Over dinner, Bernard blurts out to Greta that he wants to marry her.  Greta is surprised, and when she fails to give an immediate answer, Bernard figures that maybe she is not yet ready.  Greta tries to explain, but Bernard assures her that for as long as she loves him, things will work out fine between them.  Later, Margarita tells Didith that she turned Bernard's proposal.  Margarita knows that she cannot marry Bernard for as long as she is keeping so many secrets. 

The next night, Margarita tells the manager that she wants to leave the club so her boyfriend and family can be proud of her.  But Margarita takes the stage that night, Robert sees her from the audience.  Bernard and Jake, meanwhile, arrive at the crime scene where Corales and Lambino are found dead.  Bernard finds the set up too perfect, and figures that Ramon had all of it planned.

Margarita goes to the church and prays in tears for strength so she can tell her father and Bernard the truth.  Rodrigo arrives and begs for Margarita's forgiveness, but she tells him to go away.  Rodrigo tells her that he was ambushed, but survived.  He already knows who is behind his father's murder, but decides not to involve her.  Margarita then accepts Rodrigo back and tells him that she loves him.

Rodrigo walks Margarita home and leaves after a while.  Afterwards, she receives a call from Bernard who already knows that she had been with Rodrigo.  Bernard and Margarita then argue about Rodrigo, and Bernard feels that she just used him to get over her ex-boyfriend.  Margarita is insulted, and she tells Bernard to leave. 

Margarita still feels the need to explain, so she goes to Bernard's house to talk to him.  But there, she finds Robert, and they end up having an emotional talk.  Margarita offers him a hug, but Robert begins to take advantage.
