Bernard is happy that Greta was accepted by his family, and he can't be more excited about knowing Greta more. Later, Bernard courses through their database a sketch of the shooter, then identified as a professional hitman Morgan. Meanwhile, Robert is advised that his history with his first family might be used against him in the campaign. Margarita continues to pose as Greta, a volunteer in the campaign, so she could be with her father. She tells Jessica that she has full trust in Robert as a candidate. Bernard comes to Margarita's house to pick her up for dinner, but Gabby tells him that he doesn't know any Greta. Margarita arrives in time to meet Bernard, and Didith tells Gabby to keep quiet. Bernard drives Margarita to dinner, but on the way, he gets off the car to apprehend a carnapper who later turns out to be Robbie. The kid runs away, and Bernard did not Margarita that he saw her brother. Over dinner, Bernard tries to open his heart to Greta, but later chickens out. Afterwards, he drives her to the club, but when Bernard talks to her about finding a new job, Margarita is offended and takes off. Bernard follows her so he could explain, and then, Margarita talks about her ex-boyfriend who left her after finding out about her job. She tells Bernard that if he doesn't like what she does, it is much better for them not to see each other. At dawn, Bernard visits Margarita at home for a talk. He tells her that he doesn't care about her past, all that he knows is that he likes her. Margarita smiles, and this sends Bernard to a happy mood. In the station, Ramon talks to Bernard about the exhumation of Carding's remains, and the two argue about having trust with one another. Bernard later reports to the chief about the identity of Morgan and his connection with Carding's death in the hospital. Only an autopsy will give light to this angle, but the chief decides that they need an approval from Carding's family before they can exhume the body. Meanwhile, at the campaign office, Jessica tells Margarita that she will be appearing in a TV campaign ad with Robert. |
