Bernard introduces himself to Margarita, but she tells him that her name is Greta.  Bernard tells her how he is related to Robert, and later invites her to lunch.  Margarita feels awkward seeing Bernard again after the incident when she was walking almost naked in the streets.

Over lunch, Bernard tells Margarita that he is a detective and he wants to know her more, in a friendly way.  Margarita finds him a true gentleman, hence she gives his offer some thinking.  Meanwhile, Jake is puzzled on why a burlesque dancer will volunteer for the campaign of a politician.  But Bernard is convinced that Greta has nothing to hide.

At night in the club, Bernard visits Greta, but she feels uncomfortable having him watch her dance.  Margarita wonders on what his intentions are for her, and when Bernard tells her that she only wants to be her friend, Margarita agrees.  The next night, Bernard brings her into their house for dinner.  There, Bernard introduces her to Robert and Jessica.  Margarita is speechless when she faces her father, especially when Robert tells her that she looks familiar.

Upon knowing that Greta is a volunteer, Robert and Jessica welcome her for dinner.  Robert speaks of Bernard's way with women, and this makes Bernard uncomfortable.  Bernard later tells Jessica that Greta is a former waitress who is currently in school.  When Robert tells her that she is welcome to the family, Margarita is deeply touched.

The next day, Margarita tells Didith how Robert treated her well during dinner.  Margarita begins to think that maybe, her father had reformed, and that if he finds out the truth about her, Robert may be able to accept her and her brothers.
