Margarita is shaken as she comes face to face with her long lost father, but Robert fails to recognize the daughter he abandoned years ago.  As mush as she wants to say anything, Margarita turns speechless in front of Robert.  In spite of the hatred she had kept all these years, Margarita later feels the need to see her father once again.

Corales, on the other hand, is concerned about Ramon being easy on Bernard despite his godson's defiance.  But Ramon still treats Bernard a family, although Corales fears that it is only a matter of time before Bernard exposes them.  Corales tells Ramon to handle Bernard.  Meanwhile, Bernard hears from Jake that his request to exhume Carding's body was denied.  His only hope is to convince Rodrigo to personally file the request for the exhumation, which Bernard thinks is a long shot considering he has not yet done anything to keep the investigation moving.  When Bernard and Jake go to Rodrigo's house, they hear that Rodrigo had left.  Bernard then fears that Rodrigo had gone to a rogue investigation, and that he might resort to illegal options.

Margarita wonders why his father did not recognize him.  Although, the unexpected meeting  again brought back all the hatred in her, Margarita believes that Robert is still her father and that she and her brothers need him.  But Didith doesn't that Robert will accept them as his children.  The next day, Margarita decides to see his father, but she poses as a volunteer for Robert's campaign.  There, she is surprised to see Bernard again.  What will become of Margarita and Bernard's meeting?  What will happen if she again faces her estrange father?
