Margarita is disappointed after reading Rodrigo's letter, telling her that he doesn't want to see her ever again. Margarita cries upon realizing that all the years that she loved Rodrigo, it will all come to this. As painful as it is, she decides to forget Rodrigo and move on alone. The next night, she returns to the club to work as a burlesque dancer. Bernard goes to the club with Jake, and Bernard's curiosity of Margarita even grows stronger. But Jake warns Bernard about the pitfalls of falling in love with a woman who sells fantasy. Margarita continues to worry about Robbie's whereabouts. She pursues her search for her younger brother, but all her efforts did not pay off. Running out of options to live on the streets, Robbie, on the other hand, resorts to carnapping once again. Robbie later meets Gabby at school and gives him money. But Robbie refuses to tell his younger about what he does. Later, Robbie is shock to see Robert coming to the school with Jessica and Paola. Gabby says that Robert is their school's guest speaker, and Robbie tells Gabby not to believe everything that Robert will say. After Rodrigo falls on the river, Ramon calls Corales and informs him that Rodrigo is dead. But the next day, Ramon is surprised when Bernard requests for Carding's body to be exhumed for further investigation. Ramon asks his godson on why he is bypassing his authority, but Bernard tells his godfather that he is just doing his job. While Robert delivers his lousy speech, Gabby and Paola sit beside each other as Jessica worries about her husband's stupid jokes. Later, Gabby rushes home and tells Margarita that the guest speaker is in town. Margarita is then speechless when she comes face to face with Robert. |
