Travis lies injured on the hospital, and Jasmine blames herself for what happened. The doctor declares Travis in a stable condition, but also stresses the need for intensive therapy. Monica and Jasmine separately pray for Travis's recovery. Jasmine meets Mang Andres in the chapel, and she asks for whatever it is that needs to be done to save Travis.

Travis wakes up on the hospital and hears the truth from Mang Andres. According to Mang Andres, it is not Travis's fate to die, and that whatever he does, Jasmine will still die. Travis refuses to accept what he is hearing and musters all his strength to change the course of things.

Meanwhile, Jasmine heads to the roof deck of the hospital to see if she can still save Travis. She believes, after hearing from Mang Andres, that if she sacrifices her own life, Travis will have the chance to live. But not before she reaches the roof deck, Travis falls into cardiac arrest. Mang Andres preempts Travis's death, and reminds Travis that it is indeed Jasmine's fate to die.

Jasmine jumps of the ledge the same time Travis flatlines on his hospital bed. Who will pay the ultimate price? When will Travis and Jasmine's fight with destiny end?
