Their moment was interrupted by a call from Monique. The girl however did not want to talk to Gian, she wanted to speak with Janelle. She invited her to attend the next rider’s club meeting and even offered to help the princess with riding lessons.
Troy was also invited at the riding club and Monique took this chance to connive with him. She tells him that they have the same goals in mind so they must work with each other. They must encourage Gian in making the ‘right’ decision. Monique manages to corner Gian and asks him why his actions towards her have changed, as if he an entirely different person. The prince told her she should have accepted his marriage proposal then. Janelle’s better than her for she has accepted who he really is. Their close talk did not escape Janelle’s eye. Troy then discouraged her from loving Gian, his heart will always belong to Monique.
Troy asked Gian to play polo so the following day he and his mother paid the queen mother a visit. Josephine tried to share some insights on the palace daily living, infecting new ideas on the queen mother. But Queen Emma quickly vetoed it and reasoned that the activities will only distract them from conforming to the palace rules.
The youngsters continued with their afternoon fun and games. Janelle played the traditional golf game with the queen and queen mother while the cousins played polo. An accident unfortunately occurs, when the horses throw off the two riders. Palace service men and doctors rushed to the crown prince’s side while Troy curled up with pain on the other side. Janelle, confused on who to attend to, runs of to help Troy seeing that many people are already taking care of Gian. This disappoints Gian and he starts to wonder about Janelle and Troy’s closeness.
