To make things worse, Gian and Janelle are stuck home alone the following day. A hungry Gian asks Janelle for some instant noodles so she whips him some soup. Gian tries to prove to Janelle that he knows how to do some housework and announces that he will do the dishes. The prince shooes her away but, as if magnetized, Janelle gives him another hug from behind.

The whole family plays some fun games later that evening. Elton and Janelle bicker as usual. But for Gian everything was a huge discovery. The parents and the children were treating each other well and was having fun which was very far from his own family.

They soon return to the palace. Gian confides to his bear what he experienced at Janelle's place while Janelle does the things she wants to do to Gian to his 'doll'. Later both sit at the balcony, Janelle wondering why Gian's stiff again towards her. He then confronts her on her suprise hugs. He tells her to do this with his permission then turns his back to her. Janelle attempts to give him one but Gian's assitant interrupts them. She then tries to hug him but the man returns to ask a question. The man leaves quickly but the mood was ruined. 

Gian happily tells his grandmother and parents of what he learned at Janelle's home. The princess' parents help one another with the chores and each family member treats one another like a friend. The queen talks to Gian in private and reminds him about the awarding ceremony for the arts with the emperor. She tells him to watch out for his father. Gian was formal with her but tries to call her 'Mama'. He was immediately reprimanded. With Troy and his mother back, Gian must not do anything inappropriate of his stature. He cannot risk losing the crown.
