On the night before he leaves for Davao, Julian takes Jasmine out for dinner for the last time. He longingly stares at her as if he is trying to imprint her face on his mind before she officially becomes his cousin. Julian won’t be attending her adoption party so he seizes that moment to just be with the girl he really loves. Jasmine notices his odd behavior and casually quips about him having fallen in love with her. She immediately takes her joke back though to keep him from getting shocked with her knowledge of the truth.
Later in the cab however, Jasmine musters her courage to express some of her feelings while Julian pretends to be asleep. She asks him to think about her even when they are far apart. When she discerns that he’s about to face up to their dilemma, she immediately tells him that it’s best if they leave their real feelings unsaid to prevent further conflicts from happening.
The next day though, Jasmine becomes panic-stricken when she finds Julian’s room empty. When she sees him downstairs, she immediately pretends to be nonchalant about his departure and even stops him from giving her one last hug. As soon as he’s gone however, she can’t stop her tears from falling down her face. If Auntie Bel didn’t remind her about her party that night, Jasmine wouldn’t move from her miserable spot by the window.
Can Jasmine face her new life as Hannah without Julian by her side? And can they hide their feelings for each other forever now that Jasmine is about to become Julian’s cousin for real?
