“Future superstars” Jairus Aquino, Paul Salas, Eliza Pineda, Jane Oineza, Kristofer Dangculos, Joshua Dionisio and Andre Garcia, collectively known as the Kung Fu Kids, charm the local media with their witty answers even to the most unexpected questions. Moreover, Jairus, the superserye’s lead star even dares to say that "Kung Fu Kids" may match Super Inggo’s success. “Dito po bida ako, doon hindi,” Jairus quips. Along with the kids, sharing the limelight today are their senior co-stars Matteo Guidecelli, Erich Gonzales, Sid Lucero, Gerald Pizaras and Wowie de Guzman, who’s making a comeback in showbiz.
"Lobo" stars Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin remain unruffled by a few heated questions from the press. Looking dashing in his macho combat outfit, Piolo graciously insists that the pressure for "Lobo" to hit high on the ratings, which is what most people expect of such beautiful tandem on-screen, is not really his main concern. What matters is that they are able to deliver a top-quality show for the viewers, he adds. On the other hand, Angel refutes that there's anything 'romantic' between her and Piolo. She explains that it will only complicate work if they make their team-up for real. What they have now is a growing friendship based on a mutual respect. Angel doesn’t deny though that she's often starstruck with Piolo during their first few tapings, to the point that she had to distance herself just to collect her thoughts!
Also lending their support to the show are Shaina Magdayao and Ryan Eigenmann. An older and much bolder Shaina will be seen in" Lobo," doing her first screen kiss with Piolo. Some have noted how she felt overwhelmed by it but Shaina maintains that though she had hesitations before, she fully trusts her co-actor and directors.
Last but not the least, the stars of Palos begin their turn in the hotseat with an action-packed production number. Everyone who is present in the event will surely agree that Cesar Montano and Jake Cuenca made an impact with their live fighting scenes. The original Palos, Bernard Bonnin also gives a brief speech regarding his excitement for this improved version of the movie series he had popularized back in the 60’s 'til the 80’s. He admits that big bucks were spent for the never-before-seen 3D and sci-fi effects plus live action that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
