Viewers will be treated to one unforgettable blast of laughter as Star Cinema, Vhong Navarro and Direk Joyce Bernal once more join forces in bringing you this year’s biggest movie, Agent X44! Vhong, now touted as the Prince of Comedy is excited with his latest big screen outing, as he was terribly missed by his fans!  "Nakakatawa dahil una sa lahat isang seryosong pelikula tulad ng Agent X44 gagawin ko siyempre iisipin ng mga tao na kalokohan," Vhong said with an amused smile. "Kasama si Bb. Joyce Bernal, talagang pinaglaruan naming ng sobra yung script, yung nabasa ko nakakatawa na dinagdagan pa naming ng flavor ni Direk."
Her leading lady, Mariel Rodriguez could also not contain her excitement over her big screen debut. "Finally palabas na yung movie. I mean excited na ako kasi ang tagal-tagal na naming ginagawa, matutuloy pa ba? Ipapalabas pa ba? Kasi na push back yung date eh. So ngayon happy na ako kasi at least start siya ng New Year ipapalabas. Sana it will be good for all of us. Sana we’ll start the year with a big bang." On the other hand, box office director Joyce Bernal, who first teamed up with Vhong in the movie Da Anothers, only has praises for his lead star and cast. "Kasi kami ni Vhong and yung ibang cast galling kami sa Da Anothers. Si Mura at si Pokwang, ok na ok na kami, dire-diretso, yung walang second take. Or tawanan lang kami ng tawanan, parang kunwari nagsesetup yung cinematographer naming si Charlie Peralta, may ilang kakanta or nag one man show. Mag-mamagic, kumakanta-kanta. Si Pokwang, Si Vhong nagpeperform, kanya-kanyang performance yan. Lahat ng tao napapatawa nila." Direk Joyce also adds that she and Vhong have this certain "connection" which makes their movies a certified laugh-fest. "We try very hard na ang lumabas na humor ay yung sa aming dalawa." The multi-awarded director stated. Agent X44 also stars Pokwang, Cassandra Ponti, Uma Khouny, John Lapus, Epi Quizon, Julianna Palermo and the original Agent X44, Tony Ferrer.
