On Maalaala Mo Kaya: Maja Salvador and Rayver Cruz tackle an unwanted pregnancy

Maja Salvador and Rayver Cruz tackle teen pregnancy in the August 30 episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. When love turns to lust, the two young lovers sudden find themselves in a situation where they have to stop being kids and face adult responsibilities after Maja’s character gets pregnant.

This is the first time that the two actors, especially Maja, will take on such a mature role. The young actress reportedly wasn’t fazed about the departure from her usual wholesome image. Maja was also applauded for another noted Maalaala Mo Kaya episode (“Regalo”) where she acted with Vilma Santos in 2006. The August 30 episode also stars Rio Locsin, Lauren Young, Carlo Maceda and Raquel Montessa and is directed by Jeffrey Jeturian.
