Last Friday (August 15) noontime-show host Willie Revillame voluntarily went to Bureau of Internal Revenue, Quezon City to personally pay his quarterly income tax and to learn why his tax reached up to more than six million pesos. "Muntik akong bumagsak," he quipped. "Gusto ko ako ang magbabayad para makita ko kung saan na napupunta ang binabayad ng tax payers." He also dispelled ideas of evading tax payments because he feels blessed and as a Filipino, he should be doing the right thing.

Willie also confessed that he is undergoing medications for his health problems and that his doctors advised him to take rest for a month. "For one month kailangang magbakasyon. Dapat meron akong sulat from three doctors sa heart, sa intestines, and siyempre yung throat ko," he revealed. The host added that he would still have to tell Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN President and Gabby Lopez, ABS-CBN Chairman about his plan to rest of a month. "May commitment kasi ako sa sponsors, sa ABS-CBN, at sa publiko so hangga’t kaya ko munang dahan-dahanin, magpapaalam pa ko."

Willie also gave his sentiments on rival noon time show host Joey De Leon calling Wowowee co-host Pokwang ‘aswang’. "Mabuting tao si Pokwang, edukada. Bakit siya maaapektuhan eh hindi naman talaga siya aswang? Tao naman si Pokwang. Kung alam n’yo lang kung gaano nakapagpapasaya si Pokwang sa buong mundo. Hindi aswang ‘yan," he concluded.
