Jake Cuenca and Bea Alonzo continue to play it safe by refusing to comment on the alleged relationship that they have.

The Buzz episode yesterday (July 6) aired separate interviews of Bea and Jake during the recently concluded Star Magic Ball, which they both attended. The two stars avoided reacting to rumors that they are already an item, especially Bea, who said “Tama na, tigilan na natin yon.”

Jake, on the other hand, simply explained the situation that they are in. “Ayoko namang masyadong bigyan kulay yon. Ayoko naman magsyadong mag-draw into that. Ayoko naman pong magbigay ng problema kahit kanino.”

Although the two have avoided being seen together during the ball, they have been spotted together in a showbiz party and in a restaurant together, fuelling suspicion that there is something going on between them.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea’s former onscreen partner also revealed in one of his interviews that Bea had a crush on Jake. Lloydie said that when they were still doing Maging Sino Ka Man, Bea would comment on how handsome Jake was when they caught the actor’s teleserye Palos on TV during breaks.

Roxanne Guinoo, Jake’s previous girlfriend, was also asked to comment on the issue. The actress only commented that whatever romantic involvement Bea and Jake are having, she has no say about it. “Basta out na ko dun sa picture.Happy naman ako, di naman ako magpapaka-selfish,” she revealed.
