During her launch as the latest Belo Essentials endorser a couple of weeks ago, Sarah Geronimo admitted that she had suitor. It was the first time that the champion singer revealed anything about her secret admirer, whom she only identified as a “singer-actor.”

ABS-CBN.com had previously reported that Ronnie Liang was one of Sarah's secret admirers. The ex-Pinoy Dream Academy scholar had revealed his admiration for his ASAP co-star and that he’s willing to wait for Sarah to open her heart to courtship and boys. But Sarah later on revealed that the mysterious singer-actor that she was referring to was Mark Bautista.

Sarah’s Mommy Divine was also surprised when Sarah finally revealed the identity of her secret suitor. When ABS-CBN.com bumped into Mark last June 29, he told us that he had already spoken to Sarah and Mommy Divine about his intentions. "Actually nasabi ko na, sinabi ko na ako [ang secret admirer] at alam na rin niya. At napag-usapan na rin namin ito. Na-okay."

Mark further added, "Sigruo dahil, I think sa age niya, e puwede na siyang ligawan. Yun yung pagkakaintindi ko. At least, nag-try din ako kasi baka mawala naman, ‘di ba? Kaya hindi ko na pinalampas."

Mark also talked about how he finally told Sarah’s mom about his intentions. "Alam na rin ni Tita Divine. Pero hindi ko talaga dinetalye, pero alam niya… Well, sinabi ko kasi kay Tita Divine na puwede bang pumunta sa bahay nila? At least nagpaalam ako. So, na kay Sarah na lang talaga."

Mark hopes that he can get Sarah to say “yes,” but he also admits that it's going to entail a lot of hard work and patience. "Ayoko namang magsalita ng tapos, pero sana maging maganda ang kalalabasan nito. So, I'm just hoping for the best. Bahala na si Lord."

Mark was also surprised that Ronnie Liang is also interested in Sarah. "Wow, hindi ko alam. Wala akong idea. Wow. I don’t know. Hindi ko naman girlfriend si Sarah, so may right siya na tumanggap ng mga suitors niya. Ako wala naman akong right doon."
