There have been rumors that ex-Pinoy Dream Academy scholar Ronnie Liang is the mysterious singer-actor from ASAP who’s supposedly courting Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo. Without identifying who her secret admirer is, Sarah later clarified the real score between her and Ronnie. "Hindi naman po kasi siya nanliligaw. Parang naga-attempt pa lang pero nagbigay na ko ng wall." It’s not that she’s scared to entertain suitors, Sarah added; She’s simply not ready for a relationship yet.
ABS-CBN.com recently had a chat with Ronnie, who happily revealed his plans of dabbling into acting very soon. He also revealed his dream to be partnered with Sarah in an onscreen romance. "Si Sarah kasi nakakasama ko siya sa ASAP and masaya siyang kasama. Nakakatuwa siya kasi kahit na she's one of the big stars, hindi siya suplada. She's very accommodating and approachable. So sana magkaroon kami ng chance to work together sa isang show like a serye or mag-guest sa Your Song."
When ABS-CBN.com asked if he ever tried to woo the talented Sarah, Ronnie answered vaguely. "Siguro kasi pag nagkikita or nagkakasama sa ASAP Music Room, nagkakasama sa production numbers, ‘hi,’ beso, or naguusap lang. Konting kwentuhan, yun lang. Syempre she's beautiful, she's smart, she's talented. Kahit sinong guy mahuhulog, or what I mean is, magkakagusto sa kanya." He unflinchingly claimed that he is attracted to her and would pursue her if given a chance.
Since Sarah refuses to open her heart to prospective suitors for now, Ronnie respects her decision. "Di ko alam ang sasabihin ko pero I’m happy for her. Pareho pa naman kaming bata." Is he willing to wait until she’s ready? Ronnie replied, "Syempre maghihintay pa rin. Hindi ko rin alam kung may ibang manliligaw sa kanya, pero I’m just here as a secret admirer."
