By Bernie Franco Actress Ara Mina confirmed Tuesday night (June 24), that she and younger sister Cristine Reyes have reconciled, ending their rift that has lasted for more than a month.
In ABS-CBN.com’s exclusive interview with the actress at her restaurant, Café Mina, located at RiverbanksCenter in MarikinaCity, Ara said that Cristine made the first move to reconcile after entertainment talk show The Buzz’s episode last Sunday (June 22) which aired her side of the story.
“After The Buzz, she texted me.
Initially, Ara was hesitant to reply to her sister’s text message and later received a call from Cristine. “She was crying, hayun humihingi ng sorry. Ara revealed.
Ara clears that their misunderstanding had nothing to do with the news that her sister is dating Dennis Trillo again. “Pagdating sa love life, out na ko dyan,” Ara said.
The cause of their gap was about Cristine’s career undertakings. “Being her co-manager, I want the best for her,” she explained. Because of that, doon nag-start siguro. Nairita siya or something and nakabitiw siya ng salita and nasaktan ako.
The sisters were last seen happy together during their Kapamilya welcome on ASAP ’08 last March. Ara is said to be instrumental to her sister’s sudden career move of switching networks.
