Ara Mina admits in a text message to The Buzz that she was deeply affected and hurt by younger sister Cristine’s harsh SMS messages to her but she refused to go into details about what triggered their misunderstanding. “Sobra akong nasaktan sa mga tinext niya. That’s why I decided na manahimik muna. But if she thinks nasimple lang yung nangyari, for me it’s not,” the actress said.

Ara also included in her message that she is keeping quiet because she does not want to make a big deal out of the issue. Some are speculating that the squabble between the sisters could have been triggered by Cristine signing with a film outfit without the consent of Ara or Cristine going out again with actor Dennis Trillo. It can be recalled that Cristine had a complicated relationship with the actor because of his ex-girlfriend, beauty queen Carlene Aguilar, with whom he has a child with. “Kaya nga lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya, isipin niya muna kung may masasaktan siya,” Ara expressed in her text message.

Meanwhile, Cristine said that she did not revive her romantic relationship with Dennis but admitted that they are going out. Cristine, who is also starring in the upcoming teleserye Eva Fonda, has sought their mother’s help to finally resolve the issue.
